Got off the plane and after an hour in a taxi got to Vass with a light onshore breeze at 4pm. Thought that the wind wasn't going to happen but an hour later the wind shifts and picks up. Grabbed a Fanatic Cross 120 and a NP 6.7 Jet and hit the water. The board felt huge but it was good to get a couple of hours just practicing fast tacks and gybes in board shorts and a rash vest. A lot of people stayed out until 8.30 but I felt guilty about abandoning my girlfriend especially as she was here to learn to windsurf (too cold in the UK). All in all a good start to the week.
